What does it mean to archive books in the KDP dashboard?
To archive books in the KDP dashboard is about freeing up space in the Bookshelf section of your Amazon KDP dashboard.
The following scenarios can warrant archiving some books in your KDP dashboard:
If you have published lots of books and you want only the recently published books to appear on your bookshelf.
If you have unpublished some books and you don’t want them to appear again on your bookshelf
If Amazon had refused to approve a book and you don’t want to see it again on your bookshelf

How to archive books in the KDP dashboard
The following tutorial shows you how to archive books in the KDP dashboard:
Log in to your Amazon KDP dashboard
I believe you should be able to do that.
Go to the exact book
Go to the exact book you want to archive in the Bookshelf section of your KDP dashboard. Click on the three dots to the far right of the book (see picture below).
Click on the archive book
From the drop-down menu, click on ‘Archive title’
You should take note of the information on the next page shown above. Amazon informs you that though you have archived your book, it remains on sale in the various Amazon stores (that is if it was published in the first place).
You can finish the process by clicking, ‘Archive Title ‘

How to see archived titles in your Amazon KDP dashboard
In case you want to see the archived book titles again in your Amazon KDP bookshelf, you should do this:
In your Bookshelf, click on ‘View’ and select, ‘All Titles’ or ‘Archived Titles.’
This will either show you all titles you have published including the archived book titles or only the archived book titles. Please see the picture below:
